As we say goodbye to August and hello to September I wanted to share this post about my favorite beauty products of August.
So if you know me at all, you’ll know I’m obsessed with buying makeup (and shopping in general). You’ll see if you follow me on Snapchat (@EverythingObses), all my latest buys. I’ve been trying out some new makeup products over the month of August and even changed my foundation (to one I’m actually much happier with now). So here I’ve listed my top 5 products which I found/started using in August, and which I absolutely love.
1. Urban Decay ‘All Nighter’ liquid foundation.
Just WOW. I’ve used Mac Studio Fix foundation for as long as I can remember, but I’ve just never felt it provided the coverage I wanted, and if I put a second layer on, it always felt heavy. So I went into Sephora recently and asked one of the workers what she would recommend for me.
She suggested this “All Nighter” liquid foundation from Urban Decay. It’s a bit more expensive than Mac, but so worth it! It feels so light on the skin and gives a flawless, matte finish (which is what I like). On top of this, this foundation is waterproof so it won’t come off if you go swimming in it. Again, WOW!
2. Too Faced Love Palette
This eyeshadow palette is sooo nice! There are a variety of colors so you can do a soft & subtle eye or a bold smokey eye. It also comes with an eyeliner – and this eyeliner is nearly worth buying the palette for! It stays on so well even on your waterline and has a smudge tool at the opposite end. I’m in love! (Available here Bonus it’s on sale right now!!)
3 Urban Decay EyeShadow Primer
This eyeshadow primer from Urban Decay is amazing. It makes such a nice base for your eye shadow to go on. Not only does is make a nice base it keeps your eyeshadow looking good all day. I definitely recommend it. (Available here … this is also on sale for half price right now!)
4 Individual eyelashes
I cannot believe I’ve never used Individual lashes before!! They are so great – you can control how thick and long your eyelashes are. They look so real and are even easier to apply than full strip eyelashes. I’m never going back! These ones are from Primark and are available in Primark stores.
5. Max Studio Blush & Bronze book
I actually picked up this little palette in TJ Maxx. It’s actually very hard to find online but I’ve found one on eBay here. I usually use the bottom left and bottom middle shades. They don’t have actual names on the shades but the bottom left shade is amazing for highlighter! The highlighter is definitely my favorite shade on this palette and the reason I love it so much. After the recent loss of one of my Sleek contour palettes which had an amazing highlighter, this palette really helped me.
So there you have it, my favorite 5 products of August. ♥
